Lovely bright acidity and freshness leading onto a long, concentrated mid-palate with layers of fruit and spice. Green pepper notes. Lots of character to this wine, with plenty of tannins to balance it out. Very good.

90 Merlot, 10 cab f. This certainly lives up to the name of the vintage. Totally irresistible. I would call it divine. A super soft and very elegant style. Purity of fruit and excellent profile. Very characterful 18.5/20

Rich and with a lovely purity, full flavoured and full bodied with layered black fruit, cigar, leather and spice character. Big grippy tannins. I like the texture and structure and concentration on the mid palate. A beautiful expression of St Julien.

13% alc 3.59PH Bright and fresh, lovely juicy texture and very stylish. Lovely pepper note leading to a complex, dense palate packed with black fruits, rose petals and violet floral notes. Very complete and almost full bodied with very fine, powdery tannins. Smoke notes, Length is so long. Very pure and energetic. 19.5/20

Very perfumed, strawberry and plum, chocolate textures. Soft and sweet, lovely style with a savoury character and spice notes. Good balance with firm tannins. Very good.

All clay, perfumed with dark ripe berry fruits. Rich and dense, polished with ripe fruit character, lush and silky textured with a very fine tannic structure. Delicious and very well balanced

Very perfumed, crushed gravel nose with violets and dark cherry. Palate is delicious, very fresh and juicy at beginning. It is medium to full bodied, very broad and dense, multilayered, complex and juicy, floral and with beautiful firm tannins. Mouthwatering throughout. Excellent style. 19.5++/20 - wine of the vintage!!!

Violet floral perfume. Fresh with a high level of concentration, density on the mid palate, good depth weight and structure. Beautiful dark fruits and coffee notes. Multi-dimensional. Full bodied with power. Very fine tannins and a silky profile. Textured throughout. 19.5/20

White peach, floral notes, crisp and fresh. Lovely texture and nice fresh style. Very good.

Stone fruits, flat peach, pear drops, fresh and textured with tannins. Very juicy and charismatic. Love the white wines this year.

Vinous A. Galloni 96-98/100 : “The 2025 Pavie is a total stunner. What a wine. Rich and dazzling in its intensity, the 2025 hits all the right notes. Inky dark red/purplish fruit, exotic spice, mocha, espresso and pomegranate literally stain the palate. The 2025 is going to require the better part of a decade to unwind, but it has a ton of potential and a very bright future. This is the first time Cabernet Francis the dominant variety in the Grand Vin. The 2025 has plenty of the textural intensity readers have come to expect, but with less of the heavy extraction that marked the earlier years.”

Beautiful from the start, fresh acidity, high level of density and structure, black fruits, pepper notes. High tannins. Soft and very silky texture with power! Great balance and length. Bright, red and juicy. Lovely limestone character. Good weight and fine tannins.

Black fruit, fresh and very elegant style, lovely polished palate with good weight. Lead pencil notes, medium bodied, very smooth tannins. Very harmonious. 18++/20

Black berry fruits, good freshness and serious dense fruit on palate. Very spicy and peppered. Tannins are firm and rich. Medium to full bodied. a stylish northern medoc with lots of charachter. 18/20
