Jean-Marc Millot
Purity and Elegance in Burgundy
Domaine Jean-Marc Millot has quietly built a reputation for producing some of the most refined and terroir-transparent wines in the Côte de Nuits. Based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Jean-Marc and his daughter Alix Millot oversee the Domaine’s impressive holdings, which include prestigious Grand Cru vineyards such as Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux, and Grands Échezeaux. Their winemaking philosophy emphasizes purity of fruit, minimal intervention, and traditional Burgundian techniques, resulting in wines of elegance, balance, and remarkable aging potential.
With a focus on organic practices in the vineyard and gentle extraction in the cellar, the wines of Domaine Jean-Marc Millot are known for their silky texture, lifted aromatics, and deep sense of place. As Alix Millot continues to refine and elevate the Domaine’s work, collectors and Burgundy enthusiasts increasingly recognize these wines as hidden gems among the region’s finest.
