Jean-Marc Pillot is a master of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Chassagne-Montrachet, crafting wines that brilliantly balance richness and precision. As the fourth generation of his family to oversee the Domaine, Jean-Marc took the reins in 1991 and quickly established his own style, emphasizing careful vineyard work, moderate yields, and a thoughtful mix of traditional and modern techniques.
His white wines are defined by their purity, tension, and crystalline minerality, while his reds display remarkable depth and finesse. Farming sustainably across some of the most coveted parcels in the Côte de Beaune, Jean-Marc produces stunning expressions of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, ensuring that each cuvée reflects the essence of its terroir with remarkable transparency and aging potential.
