ANTOINE JOBARD
Upholding Meursault’s Classic Elegance
Antoine Jobard has quietly established himself as one of Meursault’s most talented vignerons, continuing the legacy of his father, François Jobard. Taking over the Domaine in the early 2000s, Antoine has upheld the family’s commitment to restrained, age-worthy white Burgundies that emphasize terroir over opulence. His approach focuses on low-yield vineyards, extended élevage, and minimal intervention, allowing the wines to develop complexity and structure over time.
With holdings in some of Meursault’s finest Premier Crus, including Poruzots, Genevrières, and Blagny, Antoine’s wines are known for their incredible depth, precision, and mineral-driven character. Fermented and aged in mostly neutral oak barrels, they develop a signature tension and vibrancy, rewarding patience in the cellar. His wines stand as a testament to the timeless elegance of Meursault, balancing richness with remarkable finesse.
