Jules Desjourneys

Jules Desjourneys is the brainchild of winemaker Fabien Duperray, a visionary producer who has brought a Burgundian sensibility to the wines of Beaujolais and the Mâconnais. After years of working as a top wine merchant for Burgundy’s elite estates, Duperray launched his own Domaine with the goal of crafting world-class wines from lesser-appreciated terroirs. His focus on biodynamics, low yields, and meticulous winemaking has resulted in wines of extraordinary finesse and complexity.
From the granite-rich crus of Fleurie and Moulin-à-Vent to the limestone-laden vineyards of Pouilly-Fuissé, Jules Desjourneys produces wines that defy expectations. His Beaujolais bottlings are structured and refined, capable of aging like great Burgundy, while his Mâconnais whites rival some of the region’s top Chardonnays. With limited production and growing acclaim, these wines are quickly becoming cult favourites.
