Dugat-Py

Domaine Dugat-Py is synonymous with powerful, age-worthy Burgundy, crafting some of the most intense and structured wines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The Domaine, led by Bernard Dugat and his son Loïc, farms meticulously, following organic and biodynamic principles to maintain the health and expression of their old-vine vineyards—some of which date back over a century. With holdings in prestigious Grand Cru sites such as Mazis-Chambertin and Chambertin itself, Dugat-Py’s wines are among the most coveted in the region.
In the cellar, Dugat-Py employs whole-cluster fermentation, long macerations, and a generous use of new oak, resulting in deeply concentrated wines with immense complexity and aging potential. These wines demand patience, often requiring years to fully reveal their layers of dark fruit, earth, and spice.
