Château Lafleur
A Cult Classic of Pomerol
Château Lafleur is a tiny yet iconic estate in Pomerol, known for crafting some of the most complex and long-lived wines in Bordeaux. Unlike its neighbor Pétrus, Lafleur blends Cabernet Franc with Merlot, creating a wine with structure, aromatic intensity, and extraordinary depth. The vineyard’s gravel and clay soils contribute to its distinctive power and elegance.
With floral, spice, and earthy truffle notes, Lafleur wines develop incredible layers of complexity over time, making them a favorite among collectors. Production remains extremely limited, and each vintage is a testament to the estate’s dedication to traditional, low-intervention winemaking that prioritizes purity and terroir expression.
