Camille Thiriet
A New Voice in Burgundy
Camille Thiriet is one of Burgundy’s rising stars, bringing a fresh perspective to the region’s winemaking traditions. She co-founded Maison Thiriet in 2016 with her partner Matt Chittick, focusing on micro-cuvées sourced from carefully selected vineyard plots across the Côte d’Or.
In 2022, Camille and Matt acquired a 4.5-hectare domaine in Corgoloin, expanding their estate to six hectares. With this new foundation, Domaine Camille Thiriet has focused on organic farming and horse ploughing, ensuring the vineyards remain in harmony with nature. Their low-intervention philosophy extends to the cellar, where they use indigenous yeasts, avoid excessive sulphur, and favour whole-cluster fermentation to enhance complexity. Their wines now showcase the best of the Côte de Nuits Villages, with precision, elegance, and a true sense of place.
Her wines, ranging from regional Bourgogne to prestigious village and Premier Cru bottlings, showcase an elegant, expressive style with remarkable energy and finesse. Each bottling is a reflection of Camille’s philosophy—small-scale, thoughtful winemaking that prioritizes balance, freshness, and a deep connection to Burgundy’s heritage. As production remains extremely limited, her wines have quickly gained cult status among collectors seeking unique, terroir-driven expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
