Macán is the result of a groundbreaking partnership between two of the most respected names in the wine world: Vega Sicilia and Bordeaux’s Rothschild family (owners of Château Lafite). This ambitious project, based in Rioja, combines Spanish winemaking tradition with the precision and expertise of Bordeaux to craft world-class Tempranillo wines.
With a focus on old-vine Tempranillo and meticulous vineyard selection, Macán produces two wines: Macán and Macán Clásico. These wines showcase Rioja’s elegance and depth, with layers of red fruit, spice, and well-integrated oak. The fusion of two prestigious winemaking philosophies has resulted in wines of remarkable balance, refinement, and aging potential.
